Scope of Work: For the Texas Height Modernization Project, headquartered on the Texas A&M, Corpus Christi campus, located several existing National Geodetic Survey (NGS) monuments that were set in Bexar and Kendall Counties. The project involved two stages of work. The rst was collecting geodetic data of the monuments using highly precise global positioning procedures that are used to determine precise ellipsoid heights. The second part of the project was to take that data received, using standard and published quality control procedures and checks to compile the data into the format that the Texas Height Modernization Project required.
